Copacabana & Isla del Sol

“In Bolivia, there are Catholic, Evangelical, Methodist, Baptist churches, and so on.  In Bolivia, there are indigenous religious beliefs like the rite of Pachamama Mother Earth, which shows us that Mother Earth is our life, we are born out of the Earth, we live on the Earth and return to the Earth.” – Evo Morales

The Island of the Sun sits in the middle of Lake Titicaca, a few hours by boat from Copacabana. According to Inca mythology, this island, Isla Del Sol, is the birthplace of the sun.

May the sun shine and light our individual and collective journeys.

Isla del Sol is the embodiment of peace and serenity. Best explored at an ambling pace, the sacred island is an energetic blend of mysticism and spirituality.
